Will The Atkins Diet Help Me Lose Weight Quickly?

Here’s come a BUT. The reason why I eventually gave up this diet was probably the same reason why alot others have given it up too. The theory of this diet is that when you avoid all types of carbohydrates, your body are forced to use up the stored fat. Since you are eating nothing but meat, meat and even more meat everyday. It is very damaging to your body, especially your cardiovascular system. There is not much control on how much fat you are eating everyday. All those fat clogs up your arteries and I wouldn’t be surprised if I get an heart attack at 35 if I keep using this diet. There are even rumors that the original creator of this diet, DIED from a heart attack. But his family kept it a secret for obvious reasons.
Besides the major health risk, there are other things that bothered me greatly as well. Fruits were almost forbidden in this diet. As well as most veggies. Yes, I was able to lose weight quickly, but I started having constipation. My breath started to stink and I couldn’t help but **** alot. My complexion suffered too. I started getting pimples near my lips and on my back. On top of that, I missed my pasta and baked goods alot. 5 weeks into it, I’ve finally said “I’ve had enough!” and went on to search for another useful diet. And in the following month, I gained all 12 lbs back and then some.
I advise you not to attempt the Atkins diet if you want to keep your breath fresh or sanity in checked. Instead go for a more balanced diet. It might not give you such dramatic results but in the long run you will be able to keep the weight off. Isn’t it all that matters?

Losing weight is all about a lifestyle change, there is simply no other way – please stop searching for the next miracle to lose weight as there isn’t one! I know it seems hard now to make that first step but once you get going you will wonder what all the fuss was about and why you didn’t stay in shape before. I was the same when I started – really reluctant to go to the gym and always making excuses, I made that first step and yes it was very tough but became easier and easier as I went on. It may seem funny to you but now I am actually addicted to the gym and can’t stop ha!
If you start today and are consistent, you can make a dramatic change to your body in one month, one month doesn’t sound too bad right? If you aim to lose 3 pounds each week, you will have lost nearly a whole stone by this time next month! Imagine the difference a whole stone will make to how you look and feel!
Another good motivation tool is taking regular photos. Take a photo of yourself at the start of the diet then another a month later, you will ecstatic with your progress. You could even pin each photo to your fridge as a constant reminder!
To keep motivated on the diet I recommend you tell all your friends and family what you are doing. Your friends can offer you support and hopefully won’t tempt you with cakes etc! Also – if you tell everyone you might be less likely to quit.
The first thing to do is get your self a good diet (see blog link below) . Once you are on a good diet not only will the fat start dropping off faster than you can imagine – you will feel so much better. The great thing about eating healthy is also the sense of well being you get, there is nothing like feeling great within yourself to help keep motivated.
Losing weight really shouldn’t be a last minute thing that is done in a few weeks. The results are not instant, but you can make a dramatic change to your body in a month if you follow a good diet and exercise routine. Just make that first step and you will never look back.

I have constantly had an on-going struggle with my own weight, however a few years ago I managed to lose those needless pounds.
I have constantly liked the bad types of food and drinks and as a effect have have constantly been on the large side. I have to be very careful what I eat as I seem to attain weight very well. In my life I have tried some weight loss plans or dieting, nevertheless I have always looked for a mode of losing weight without having to resort to underfed myself or by having to do great amounts of exercise.
I determined I needed to detect my own weight loss platform. I had to be real, I was conscious that I did very little exercising and that I cared for all of the wrong types of nutrient. I preferred the taste of fast food, this was only because of my occupied life style though. One of my greatest troubles though was that I liked snack food, such as groundnuts, hot chocolate and crinkles. I too liked alcoholic beverage as this aided me to gain self-assurance.
I determined that what I would do is to essentially eat a nutritious type breakfast, that would be cerial or toast. I would have a fairly lighter lunch, such as a sandwich, however for my dinner I could eat whatever I favored. The strong thing and most tricky to implement would be that I would be no longer eating between meals. The snacks had to go!. I am not attempting to say that this was simple to do, however I had a need and was firm to lose weight.
