Eliminating Belly Fat
Belly fat seems to be problem for a number of Americans these days. All you have to do is to look around and you will see that at least 2 out of every 3 individuals is carrying a little extra around the stomach. The unfortunate part is we don’t have to look around to find those with too much belly fat. All we have to do is look down at our own stomach or take a look in a mirror. It is quite evident that we need to find a way to start eliminating belly fat. I am going to be upfront and honest with you. Eliminating belly fat is not the easiest thing in the world to do. It may not be this way for everyone but at least for me stomach fat seems to be one of the last things to leave whenever I am following a fat loss plan. I feel like all of the fat forces have retreated to my belly to make one final stand. The good news, however, is that is you are persistent and consistent in your pursuit of getting rid of fat you will be able to ultimately eliminate belly fat.
Plan for Eliminating Belly Fat
If you are to be successful at getting rid of stomach fat then you are going to need to follow a fat loss plan. Any fat loss plan should take into consideration at least two major components if it is to be effective. The first component that it should have is a nutrition plan. You can call this whatever you want. You can refer to it as a diet or fat loss diet. However, my concern about referring to a nutrition plan as a diet is that it sounds as if it is temporary. If you “go on” a diet and you lose weight then there is a good chance that when you no longer follow the diet that the weight that you have lost will return. A meal plan for eliminating belly fat is not a short term solution. If you want to banish the fat forever then you need to permanently alter the way that you eat. If not, you will be looking to lose fat at some point in the future.

You need a lifestyle change. I am not saying that you will no longer be able to enjoy a sloppy pizza ever again but it definitely cannot be part of your diet three times per week. Now if you could find a way to lose weight on a pizza diet then you could become quite wealthy but the truth of the matter is that cannot lose weight by consuming more calories than your body needs. Any nutrition plan that you follow must be easy to follow and it must be loaded with foods that are healthy for you. That means fruits and vegetables. It means cutting down on white bread and pasta made from refined flour. It means cutting out sugary drinks from your diet. In other words it means changing all of the things that packed on the fat around your belly in the first place.
The second component that any good fat loss plan should have is an exercise plan. Do not waste your time trying to follow diets that do not advertise exercise as part of its plan to lose fat. If you are unwilling to exercise you will not lose fat. Stop being lazy and unmotivated and get off you butt and get in action. Getting rid of stomach fat requires work but the work is well worth it. Also do not waste time on an exercise plan unless they advocate that you eat cleanly. Removing stomach fat requires a two pronged attack in every instance. Don’t be fooled into thinking otherwise. All exercise plans are not created equal.
An exercise plan to get rid of fat will require both a weight lifting segment and a calories burning segment. Weight lifting is a must. You best offense against removing belly fat is building muscle. I cannot overemphasis the importance of this. Muscle is a fat burning machine. The more of it that you have the more fat that you will burn. And please ladies don’t let me hear you say that you don’t want to be muscle bound. You don’t have the ability to be muscle bound. Let’s get real. That is only an excuse not to work hard. You need to build muscle. It will give you the look that is desirous, the tone and slender look.
I would also recommend that you incorporate high intensity interval training into your workout regimen. Steady state cardio sessions (long sessions on a treadmill or jogging in your neighborhood) are not as effective at burning fat as shorter periods of intense exercise. It is much more effective to perform 20 minutes of high intensity exercise than it is to go on a long 45 minute to one hour run. If you are not comfortable creating a plan such as this on your own, I have two that I would highly recommend. One is called Warp Speed Fat Loss 2.0 and the other is Lean Hybrid Muscle. WSFL 2.0 was created by Mike Roussell and Alwyn Cosgrove. Mike is a nutritionist and Alwyn is an exercise guru. It is a fabulous plan that includes everything I have talked about above. Lean Hybrid muscle is a fat loss and muscle building plan created by Elliot Hulse. Both have years of experience doing just what their plan says it will do. I recommend both of them highly. If you need a plan to follow then check them out.
