Burn Calories and Lose Weight

I read earlier today that texting on your cell phone may help teen girls to lose weight.  I guess they are basing the study on an assumption that if someone is dedicated enough to write a diary of their life each day by cell phone then they are more likely to stick to a diet and exercise program.

I do not mean to be sarcastic here, but if you are depending on text messaging to help you burn calories and lose weight then you might want to reevaluate your plan of attack.  We have a weight problem in this country.  A recent study said that 64% of the American public is overweight and that 27% would fall into the obese category.  Somehow I think that the remaining 36% will struggle with weight at some point in time during their life.  It is something that we all struggle with.

The question ultimately becomes how determined are you to do something about it?  The opportunity to change your life and protect your health is in your hands.  Will you commit the time?  Will you be disciplined?  Will you spend money for equipment and information that will help you?  Will you seek out someone to take the journey with you?

At some level, I hope that I can take the journey with you and be an aide in your quest to burn calories and lose weight.  It is my goal to provide you with the information, products, encouragement, and research findings that will enable you to reach your goals.    Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to see you again.
