How Many Calories Do you Burn Running?
The question is often asked, “How Many Calories do you burn running?” Well the answer to that question will vary depending on the intensity with which you run. If you are out for a leisurely jog, you will burn fewer calories than you would if you were keeping a steady pace. There are other factors including the terrain on which you are running and at what level you keep your heart rate.
However, if you want to know how many calories you burn running I can give you a quick estimate. Here is a basic rule of thumb. Below you will find a list of calories burned while running at different speeds. This will give you a quick guideline for determining how many calories you burn running. Running is a great exercise that will help you burn calories. It is sometimes difficult on certain people especially if you have joint problems or if you are overweight. The pounding of running makes it difficult. But if you are in condition to run then hopefully you now have a better idea of how many calories you burn running.
