How To Lose Weight Naturally
If you are like me you don’t like to put too many foreign substances into your body. I am not a fan a prescription medication and I have never taken a weight loss supplement or fat burner in my life. You just never know if what is in them will have an adverse effect on you. However, despite our best efforts sometimes we will still pack on a few unwanted pounds leaving us to ponder the question of how to lose weight naturally.
There are no secrets to weight loss. Despite what many radio or television commercials tell you there is not a need to fill your body with supplements. You can lose weight naturally if you will construct a diet and exercise program around the following key components.
Eat less but eat more often. OK, that probably sounds like a paradox, however, let’s break down the statement. You need to eat less during the day then you normally do. In other words, take in fewer calories. If you drink a lot of soft drinks then cut htem out. Avoid candy and other junk food. If it is your habit to eat a bag of chips while watching television you will need to put an end to that as well. Instead of having seconds at the dinner table leave after one plate. Instead of heaping portions on your plate take moderate portions instead. Eat less. But eat more frequently.
Your current practice may be to eat three times a day. Increase that to five meals per day but make them smaller. I realize that most cannot bring two extra meals with them to work but you can at least bring two pieces of fruit. Eat one mid morning and eat the other mid afternoon. This will help keep your metabolism at a higher level. Never skip a meal. This will work against you.
Another tip on how to lose weight naturally is to exercise at least 20 -25 minutes per day. Calories are consumed when you workout. Perform a mix of cardio from jogging to jumping rope to jump squats. Perform this cardio in an interval fashion. In other words, jog for 90 seconds then sprint for 30 seconds then jog for 90 seconds then sprint for 30 seconds. Rinse and repeat. I think you get the picture.
If one is truly concerned with how to lose weight naturally then they must incorporate a weight lifting routine into their exercise routine. If you do nothing but cardio you will begin to eat your muscle. You want to build muscle and this is accomplished through strength training. The more muscle you have on your body the more calories you will burn. It takes more calories to maintain one pound of muscle than it does to maintain one pound of fat.
